Box Score KEENE, N.H. - The Keene State women's volleyball team opened up Little East Conference play with a win over Rhode Island College Saturday afteroon at Spaulding Gymnasium.
The Owls improve to 8-3 (1-0 LEC), while the Anchorwomen drop to 4-4 (0-1 LEC).
Angela Silveri had a double-double of her own with 11 kills and 11 digs, while setters Alexis Michal and Brooke Bell finished with 16 and 18 assists, respectively.
For the visitors, Kelsey Lace led the offense with a game-high 13 kills to go along 11 digs, while setter Abigayl White produced a double-double of 27 assists and 10 digs.
Keene State's 14 total blocks halted the Anchorwomen's offense as the Owls held a hitting advantage .279-to-.056.
The Owls host Framingham State this afternoon at 4:00 pm in non-conference volleyball action.
