Records

The Series

  • Keene State held the Colonials to single digits in both the second and fourth quarters.
  • In a statistical irony, the score of the second and fourth quarters was exactly the same - 16-8 KSC - and the score of the first and third was nearly that way as well.  Keene State outscored WCSU 17-12 in the first quarter, while the Colonials had that score for the third period.

First Half Highlights

  • Emily Dobson scored the first five points of the game for the Colonials as they took an early 5-4 lead.
  • Keene State responded with a 10-0 run as Amanda Petrow and Stephanie D'Annolfo both had conventional three point plays.
  • Ryanne Williams connected on a three pointer with 11 seconds left as Keene State led 17-12 at the end of the first quarter.
  • The Owls continued to pull ahead in the second quarter, opening up a 28-14 lead on a pair of free throws by Lydia Vital.
  • Sandi Purcell drained a triple just ahead of the halftime buzzer for a 33-20 lead at the break.

Second Half Highlights

  • Keene State kept their foot on the pedal, as Williams' layup with 2:16 to go in the third quarter stretched the lead to 44-28.
  • The Colonials pulled within eight (45-37) at the end of the period on Alecia Dulaire's layup.
