Box Score NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass.--The Keene State College women's basketball team suffered their second loss of the season with a 60-56 setback to UMass Dartmouth at the Tripp Athletic Center on Saturday.

Keene State leads 26-5. The teams have split the season series for the fourth straight year, as Keene State won the first meeting 86-71 back on December 5.
Tale of the Tape
- The Owls were led by 11 points and seven boards from Sarah Kober. Sandi Purcell was the only other player to reach double-digits, with 10 points. Amanda Petrow was close to a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds, while Kelsey Cognetta also had nine and Stephanie D'Annolfo had eight.
- Keene State shot just 12-for-20 from the free throw line, but outrebounded the Corsairs 42-36.
- Meghan Ronaghan led all players with 17 for the Corsairs, while Rachel McCarron came off the bench to add 14 points. Colleen Kane and Beth Castantini each had 10 points.
- It was the third straight win for the Corsairs, while Keene State had a four game winning streak ended.
First Half Highlights
- D'Annolfo's layup with 4:54 left in the first quarter gave the Owls an 11-5 lead. The Corsairs responded with seven straight points, capped by a three from Kane for a 12-11 lead.
- Kober's free throw with 46 seconds left tied the game at 12 at the end of the opening period.
- Cognetta drained a three with two minutes gone in the second quarter to push the Owls lead out to 17-14, and Purcell made another with 4:31 left that extended the advantage to 23-19.
- D'Annolfo made four free throws in the final 1:41 of the half as the Owls led 28-24 at the break.
Second Half Highlights
- The Corsairs opened the third quarter on a 7-0 run, as McCarron converted a three point play with 7:34 on the clock to take a 31-28 lead.
- Emily McPadden's layup and a three point play by Petrow put the Owls back in front 33-31, but the Corsairs got back-to-back threes from Marissa McCabe and Kane to go ahead 39-33.
- Kane and Petrow traded layups in the final 24 seconds as the Corsairs led 42-39 at the end of the third.
- UMass Dartmouth pulled away in the fourth quarter, taking a 51-43 lead as Ronaghan converted a three point play with 3:51 to go.
- Chelsea Houlihan sank a free throw with 1:01 to play for a 54-48 advantage, setting the stage for a rally by Keene State.
- Purcell drained a three with 45 seconds left, and after Danyel Gonzalez made two free throws, Ryanne Williams' three bounced off the back iron before dropping in to make it a 56-54 game with 13 seconds left.
- Keene State immediately fouled Ronaghan, who connected on both with second seconds to go, but the Owls got a layup from Cognetta to make it a two point game again. Keene State fouled again, as Castantini made both to put the game away.
