BOSTON, Mass.--Several members of the Keene State College track and field team competed at the All-Division, Open New England Championships at Boston University over the weekend.
Karisa Bergman placed 20th overall in the shotput, and third amongst Division III competitors, with a throw of 11.64 meters.
Katelyn Terry ran the preliminary of the 400 meter dash in 58.31, bettering her season best by .30 seconds and moving her into 31st place nationally. The top 17 will qualify for the NCAA championships.
Quentin Bazarnicki ran the 500 meter dash in 1.07.93. Lindsey Terry ran the women's 500 meters in 1:20.00, while Brittany Gravallese also finished the event, in 1:20.70.
Lauren Markoe finished the 800 meters in 2:20.37.
Philip Parent and Mark Rabasco both ran the 5,000 meters, with Parent clocking in at 15:15.32, and Rabasco in 15:40.80. Lindsay Szuch ran the women's 5,000 meters in 18:25.08.
The men's 4x800 meter relay team of Matt Dudley, Tyler Dechane, Iid Shekh-Yusuf, and Kody Parrott finished in 8:15.29, and the 4x400 relay of Bazarnicki, Eric Deitz, Devin Sanford, and Jared Hannon finished in 3:25.44.
The season continues next weekend at the ECAC Championships.
