Box Score 2 CLERMONT, Fla.--Keene State College rallied from a 7-0 deficit but fell 9-8 to Transylvania (Ky.) in the first game on Tuesday at Foundation Academy on Tuesday. The Owls also fell to William Paterson 6-2.

How It Happened - Game One
- The Pioneers sent 12 batters to the plate in the bottom of the second inning, scoring seven runs against KSC starter Olivia Indorf.
- KSC pulled one back in the fourth inning when Jen Galavotti reached on an infield single and scored on an error.
- After the Pioneers increased the lead to 8-1 on an RBI triple by Meg Liter, Keene State put together a five run fifth to get back in the game. Stephanie Long drew a leadoff walk, and Kristin Boduch had a bunt single before Heather Pelletier crushed a three run homer to right field.
- An error allowed Morgan Fallon to reach, and Galavotti slammed a triple to bring her in, then scored herself on another Transy error.
- The Owls tied it up in the sixth, taking advantage of two more errors that allowed Boduch and Pelletier to score.
- Keene State had the go-ahead run in scoring position in the top of the seventh when Brittany DaMota singled and took second on Molly St. Germain's sacrifice, but was stranded when Stephanie Long struck out.
- The Pioneers walked off with the win when Shelbi Pohlein led off the seventh with a triple and crossed the plate on a sacrifice fly by Liter.
How It Happened - Game Two
- Mariah Crisp tossed another complete game with six strikeouts, but the Owls managed just five singles in a 6-2 loss to William Paterson.
- The Pioneers plated two runs in the top of the third on RBI hits from Nicole Fryer and Eleni Lutas, and added another in the sixth on Jillian Bainbridge's sacrifice fly.
- KSC got within one on a two run error in the bottom of the inning, loading the bases with one out. William Paterson tacked on three more runs in the sixth
