SHENANDOAH, Texas--Senior Ryan Boraski added to his career All-American haul, placing third in the 50 freestyle at the 2017 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at the Conroe Natatorium on Wednesday evening.
Boraski, who had the third fastest time in the country (19.95) coming into the meet, placed fifth in the morning preliminary race in 20.17. In the evening's final, he clocked in at 20.01, just behind the winner, Oliver Smith of Emory (19.55) and second placed Jesse Novak of Rowan (19.85).
It was the first time Boraski earned the All-American honor in the 50 free, having done so in the 200 free relay (2014), 800 free relay (2015), 200 free (2016), 200 medley relay (2016), 100 free (2016), and 400 free relay (2016).
Boraski is slated to race in the 200 freestyle on Thursday, where he is seeded seventh in 1:38.79.
