HANOVER, N.H.--Shannon Parks and Lynne Hebert both qualified for the New England Division III Championships as the Keene State College track and field team opened the 2020 season at the Dartmouth Relays at Leverone Field House on Friday evening.

Women's Highlights

Parks threw 11.45 meters, besting the qualifying mark of 11.20 meters to reach the New England Division III Championships.  Hebert also punched her ticket to the New England Division III Championships in the 800 meters, by running in 2:26.06.   Nicole De Almeida (2:35.03) and Skyler Gauthier (2:35.51) also ran the 800.   As of Friday evening, Hebert's time in the 800 is currently 18th best in the country.

Skyler Gauthier hit 4.55 meters in the long jump, and ran the 60 meter hurdles in 10.18 seconds.  Christina Martin and Hannah Jones both ran the mile, with Martin finishing in 6:10.24, and Jones in 6:18.71.  

Hebert, Kara Guinan, Jones, and Martin ran the 4x400 meter relay in 4:49.41. 

Men's Highlights

Ryan Sullivan leaped 5.97 meters in the long jump on his collegiate debut.  He also ran the 60 meters in 7.51 seconds, with teammmate Brandon Castor .01 seconds in front in 7.50.  Dylan Richards ran the mile in 5.07.62, while Jacob Pearl just missed out on New England Division III Championship qualification in the mile in 4:30.97.   At the time of writing, Pearl's time is currently the 19th fastest mile in the nation.

Robby St. Laurent ran the 800 meters in 2:06.77, with Cam Giordano just behind in 2:10.74.
