BOSTON, Mass.--Four more tickets were punched to the New England Division III Championships as the Keene State College track and field team competed at the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University this weekend.
Women's Highlights
Nicole De Almeida, Chloe Page, and Skyler Gauthier all qualified for the New England Division III Championships in the 500 meters, with De Almeida finishing in 1:20.26, Page in 1:21.58, and Gauthier in 1:22.58. Lynne Hebert qualified as well, in the 1,000 meters, running 3:08.50.
Christina Martin ran the 1,000 meters in 3:25.13, and Hannah Jones finished in 3:29.60. Gauthier, Page, De Almeida, and Hebert ran the distance medley relay in 13:01.69, currently the 13th fastest time in the nation. Gauthier also had a leap of 4.90 meters in the long jump and Shannon Parks threw the shot put 11.07 meters.
Men's Highlights
Ryan Sullivan ran the 200 meters in 23.82 seconds, while Brandon Castor ran the 400 meters in 51.84 seconds. Cameron Giordano finished the 800 meters in 2:10.81, while Dylan Richards ran the same event in 2:18.20.
Robby St. Laurent ran the 1,000 meters in 2:39.05, and Jacob Pearl ran the mile in 4:27.39. Sullivan also had a mark of 1.85 meters in the high jump.
