Grace Furlong, senior
Christina Martin, and sophomore
Jacob Pearl all posted top 10 finishes at the Little East Conference virtual cross country meet on Saturday, November 7.
The meet featured Keene State, Plymouth State, Western Connecticut, Eastern Connecticut, Rhode Island College, and UMass-Boston all running on their home courses.  Eastern Connecticut won both the men's and women's meets.
Men
Pearl covered the KSC 5K course in 16:46.09 for 10th place, with junior Cam Stinchfield in 17th in 17:19.4.Â
Rob St. Laurent was next in 19th in 17:54.0, followed by
Dylan Richards in 23rd in 18:07.1. Â
Other KSC finishers included
Cam Giordano (28th, 18:42.20), Sam Hennedy (33rd, 19:02.2),
Zach Coburn (35th, 19:17.2), and
Hussein Wahussein (40th, 22:08.3).
Women
Furlong, competing for KSC for the first time after transferring from the University of Hartford, was fifth overall in 20:55.5, with
Christina Martin in seventh in 21:27.9. Â
Hannah Jones was the next KSC harrier across the line, in 16th place in 23:03.3, followed by
Skyler Gauthier (21st, 24:15.9),
Kara Guinan (22nd, 24:19.3), and
Gabriela Cardona (25th, 24:36.7).
The KSC contingent was rounded out by
Juliana Yialiades (28th, 25:34.0),
Rhea Votano (30th, 25:54.1),
Sara Christian (31st, 26:46.0),
Alexis Gauthier (32nd, 28:17.1), and
Melanie French (33rd, 28:31.3).
