How It Happened
A lively contest that saw Keene State outshoot the Beacons 14-12 sprung into life in the 27th minute, when the Beacons were awarded a penalty kick after a Keene State foul in the box.  UMB's leading scorer Nilton De Andrade stepped up and made no mistake, beating KSC goalie
Anthony Pasciuto with a shot to the left.
In the 38th minute, the Owls drew level, as junior
Denis Fleming played an inch perfect ball over the top, and
Brandon Comire snuck in at the back post to slot home from almost point blank range.  Pasciuto kept the game even with a stop on John Santos in the 40th minute.
Keene State should have went in front in the 51st minute, as Fleming put a shot wide, then
Mbambi Mbungu hit the intersection of post and crossbar just a couple of minutes later. The Owls did take the lead in the 72nd minute, as
Rahul Drukpa's shot was blocked, but right to the feet of Fleming, who netted his fourth goal in three games.
Only 30 seconds later, the Beacons had tied it again, as De Andrade played in Josh De Almeida, who clipped the ball over Pasicuto to knot the score for a second time. While neither team could generate a shot in the first overtime, the Owls had Pasciuto to thank for preserving the tie in the second OT, bearing down on De Andrade in the 104th minute to stop the striker on a breakaway.   Mbungu had one final chance in the dying seconds but put his shot over the net.
