COLCHESTER, Vt.--The Keene State College women's swimming and diving team recorded their fourth win of the season in a dual meet with NCAA Division II St. Michael's College at the Vincent Ross Sports Center.
Women's Highlights: Keene State 168, St. Michael's 110
Emily Rogers picked up a win in the 1,000 freestyle in 12:13.51, while
Kiley Young did the same in the 50 backstroke in 29.41.
Paige Carey notched a win in the 50 breaststroke with a time of 32.07, as did
Jaelin Jang in the 100 fly in 1:05.36.
Alice Loucraft was the fifth different Owl to win a race, taking the 50 free in 26.34, and picked up her second victory of the day in the 100 free in 59.51. Young also won a second race, taking the 100 backstroke in 1:03.63. Carey and Rogers added second wins, with Carey taking the 100 breastroke in 1:10.58, and Rogers in the 500 free in 5:56.69. Jang also won the 50 fly in 28.74.
Emma Stelzner won the 1-meter dive by scoring 92.70.
Men's Highlights: St. Michael's 152, Keene State 136.
Aaron Turgeon captured the 200 free in 1:56.37, while
Jeremy Bartley won the 50 backstroke in 28.42.
Andrew Daur also grabbed a win, this one in the 100 backstroke, in 1:00.84, and
Tyler Young won the 50 fly in 25.78.
Turgeon got his second win of the day in the 200 IM, in 2:11.90.
The Owls return to action next weekend in Vermont again, heading to Norwich University on November 6 at 1 p.m.
