How it Happened
LEC Men's Soccer Standings (through 10.22.2022)All three goals came with less than 10 minutes remaining in the first half. Both of Southern Maine's goals were scored by freshman forward Josiah Irish, the first two of his collegiate career. The first goal was scored on a one-timer inside the box at 36:54, with the assist going to freshman midfielder Colin Albert. The second goal happened 39:49 when Irish headed in a corner kick from junior defender Will Smith.

With the Huskies up 2-0, the Owls quickly responded with a goal from sophomore forward Michael Mullen at 41:28, after he received a pass in the box from senior forward Mbambi Mbungu.
