How it Happened
On Senior Night, where four KSC players were honored before playing their final regular season game at Dr. Ron Butcher Field, two of them connected to give the Owls the lead. Midfielder
Kayleigh Marshall sent a deep pass from midfield toward her sister, midfielder
Amanda Marshall.
Amanda Marshall then beat two defenders to the ball before scoring her first goal of the season to give Keene State a 1-0 lead at 12:03.
In the second half, Keene State got a potential preview of things to come for the program. At 59:23,
Amanda Marshall sent a cross from within the box for freshman midfielder
Riley Devine. Devine stopped the pass and maneuvered around a defender before not only scoring her second goal of the season, but also her second in as many games to extend Keene State's lead to 2-0. Freshman goalkeeper
Sonia Moritz made five saves to pick up her fifth win of the season, all of which have come via a shutout.
