Records
- Keene State: 0-4
- Marymount: 7-1
How it Happened
Marymount raced into the lead 93 seconds into the game, through Emily Peters' unassisted tally. The Saints made it 2-0 at the 12:10 mark through Taylor Chepren, then scored three times in less than 45 seconds for a 5-0 lead.
The Saints' advantage ballooned to eight before the Owls got on the board with
Mindy St. Marie's second of the season off a pass from
Hannah Dworkin. Down 10-1 after the first quarter, Keene State began to dent the lead as Casey scored with a player advantage at the 13:40 mark of the second quarter, then set up
Cadence Loos for her first of the year that made it 11-3. Marymount went on a run, scoring three of the final four to take a 14-4 lead into the break.
Keene State would get within nine as Ratajack scored early in the third quarter, but the Owls could not get closer, as the Saints outscored KSC 4-1 in the final quarter.
Haley Terva made nine stops for the Owls.
