How it Happened
Both teams battled to a scoreless tie at the end of the first half. KSC freshman goalkeeper Riley Andriski made four saves in the first 45 minutes to keep Husson off the scoreboard.

But it was the Eagles that struck first in the second half. Junior midfielder Lindsey Russell put Husson ahead 1-0 with her first goal of the season at 56:16. It would take less than three minutes for the Owls to respond.

At 59:09, junior defender Alexa Skinner set up Kopicko for the game-tying goal. Just over six minutes later at 65:16, the two put the Owls ahead when Skinner assisted on another goal by Kopicko. KSC secured another goal by Kopicko at 82:53, this time, with the assist coming from junior defender Rachel Souza.
