Shortly after, Racicot would make his first save off a header form Beck Walthers. 10 minutes later, Racicot would make another save, to keep the game scoreless. The Keene State defense would also do their part in helping keep the game scoreless, as they would block five shot attempts in the first half, as both teams headed into the second half, tied 0-0.
"We battled hard in the first half," Keene State Head Coach,

Cristian Correa would have his shot blocked in the 52nd minute. 10 minutes later, Spencer Mix would break the tie, as he would score the first goal for Williams on the day, coming from Keelan Grace. Just six short minutes later, Jeff Stauffer would score the second goal of the day for the Ephs, giving them a 2-0 lead over the Owls. Soon after, Sam Gibson tried his chance for the Ephs, but luckily for the Owls, his shot attempt would hit the post and ring out, keeping the Ephs' lead to only two. In the six minutes of the game, David Wang would tack on a fourth goal for Williams, the final goal on the day. Racicot would make one more save in net in the final seconds, bringing his total to three saves on the day.
After the match, Coach Schmidt talked well of the Williams team, about how the team is overall, along with how the team changed at the half, "They are a very good team, they are well coached, hardworking, and strong on set pieces. The second half, their discipline and depth proved to be too much." Keene State now looks to bounce back against a strong UMass-Boston team, "We need to learn from this, just as we have done in past games. Get tougher, get smarter, and move on to the next game."
