WELLESLEY, Mass.—Kiley Young swam the third fastest time in the 400 IM in school history as the Keene State women's swim and dive team pushed their lead out after day two of the Little East Conference championships at the Boston Sports Institute on Saturday.

Women's Highlights

• Young, Emily Rogers, Jailin Jang, and Gina Nunziata were second in the 200 medley relay in 1:53.61.
• Young also won the 400 IM in 4:41.00, and the 100 backstroke in 1:00.49.  Her time in the 400 IM is the third fastest in school history, and the time in the 100 back is 10th best.
• Jang won the 200 free in 1:59.97.
• Jang, along with Rory Lee, Jillian O'Neil, and Laura Chaffee won the 800 free relay in 8:21.35.
• Chaffee was also third in the 1,000 free in 11:44.07.
• The Owls extended their lead after two days of competition, and now lead second placed Bridgewater State by 99.5 points.   The Owls have 597.5 points in total heading into Sunday's conclusive day.

Men's Highlights

• Jeremy Bartley, Ben Stafford, Logan Phillips, and Quint Kimmel were third in the 200 medley relay in 1:41.07.
• Phillips was second in the 50 fly in 24.17, the 10th best time in school history. 
• Aaron Turgeon won the 200 free in 1:46.19.
• Bradaen Ledder was second in the 100 free in 54.61.
• Turgeon, Ledder, Kimmel, and Aidan Urnezis won the 800 free relay in 7:17.32.
• Urnezis also won the 1,000 free in 9:51.36, the fourth fastest time in school history.
• The Owls remain within touching distance of Bridgewater State, who leads the men's championship with 672 points.   Keene State heads into the final day of competition with 579 points.
