DAVENPORT, Fla. - Andrew Miller's hat-trick was not enough as the Keene State College men's lacrosse team dropped a 14-8 decision to Clarkson University on Wednesday afternoon at Northeast Regional Park.

How It Happened
The Knights jumped out to a 5-0 lead, scoring the only three goals of the first quarter as well as the first two of the second quarter before the Owls got on the board through Miller's unassisted tally at the 6:59 mark.
Clarkson netted the next three goals, culminating with Matt Reilly's marker with 2:16 left in the first half before Keene State's
Colby Quiet and Clarkson's Vincent Lavarnway traded goals that sent Clarkson into halftime up 9-2.
Clarkson also kept the Owls off the scoreboard in the third quarter, netting three more times, including a pair of goals by Connor Matthew's extend the lead to 12-2.
The Owls set the final margin by scoring six of eight goals in the final 15 minutes, four on man-up opportunities. However, after making it 13-6 with 7:25 to go on
Rex Maccarini's second consecutive goal, they did not score for well over six minutes and the Knights tacked on one more to their tally with 1:40 left.
