Postgame Interview (Coach Wyant)

How it Happened
Down 3-0 in the first quarter, Rudberg began the scoring in her collegiate debut for KSC at the 8:16 mark after she picked up a loose ball and ran in front of the net before scoring to make it 3-1 WNE. It would end up being the only goal the Owls would score in the first half, as the Golden Bears found the back of the net 10 more times to enter halftime up 13-1. The Owls' offense would pick up in the second half.

After a turnover away from the net by WNE junior goalkeeper Riley Franzo, junior attacker Hannah Dworkin collected the ground ball for Keene State and sent a pass to Devine. Devine scored before Franzo could get back in front of the net to make it 14-2 WNE at 10:49. Senior attacker Jackie DeAngelis added another goal for the Owls with 1:21 left in the quarter, as KSC entered the fourth down 15-3.

Keene State's final goal of the day came from Brown, who scored on a free position shot with 13:30 left in the fourth quarter to make it a 15-4 deficit for the Owls. Western New England would add three more goals to secure its second straight victory. Graduate midfielder Samantha Vitka and senior attacker Kylie Buchanan led the Golden Bears with three goals each.
