DEDHAM, Mass.—Shannon Parks broke her own school record in the shot put at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association Championships at Northeastern University this weekend.

Women's Highlights

• Parks threw the shot put 12.98 meters, breaking her previously held mark of 12.75 meters set earlier this year at the Penmen Relays.  She was sixth overall in the event and is now 44th nationally. She also threw the hammer 44.10 meters.
• Maggie St. John ran the 5,000 meters in 19:12.12.
• Grace Furlong ran the 10,000 meters in 39:57.23.
• Savannah Soleau threw the shot put 11.99 meters and the javelin 32.67 meters.

Men's Highlights

• Samuel Hennedy ran the 400 hurdles in 1:00.47.
• Jacob Pearl ran the steeplechase in 9:29.74.
• Kyle Maruca threw the discus 43.60 meters.
