KEENE, N.H. - Keene State College first year guard Brynn Rautiola was recently named the Rookie of the Week by the New England Women's Basketball Association when the agency released their weekly awards on Tuesday, for the second time this season (previously selected on January 10).

Rautiola lead the Owls in scoring on both of their games on the week, averaging 23.5 points, four rebounds, and 3.5 steals over the pair of games that saw KSC finish 1-1 against Little East Conference opponents in over the week. In the first game of the week against UMass-Dartmouth on Wednesday, January 17, Rautiola finish with a game-high 26 points, along with grabbing four rebounds, two assists, and two steals. In the Owls' win over Southern Maine on Saturday, January 20, Rautiola scored a team-high 21 points, including scoring seven of the final nine points for the Owls over the final 1:17 of play, sealing the 69-64 win for KSC. In the game, she also tallied four rebounds, two assists, five steals.
 
Rautiola's 18.8 points per game currently ranks her the third highest rookie scorer in the country and is tied for 45th overall among all scorers. In her first 16 collegiate games, she has tallied 300 points and scored 20 or more points in eight games thus far.
 
The Owls are back in action tomorrow (Wednesday, January 24) when they host Plymouth State at 5:30 p.m. in Spaulding Gymnasium.
