MIDDLEBURY, Vt.—The Keene State College track and field team tuned up for the Little East Conference Championships at the Middlebury College Track and Field meet on Saturday.

Men's Highlights

• Jonathan DeAguiar, Samuel Hennedy, Dawson Hamele, and Keith O'Donnell made up the 4x400 meter relay that won in 3:36.51.
• Aidan Law won the long jump at 6.64 meters, was second in the 200 meter dash, in 23.42 seconds
• Griffin Urnezis was third in the 1,000 meters, in 2:40.44.
• Hamele was third in the high jump at 1.85 meters.
• Kyle Maruca was second in the shot put at 13.64 meters.
• Hennedy was third in the 400 meters at 52.71.

Women's Highlights 

• Syriah McCruse won the 200 meters in 28.49.
• Savannah Soleau won the shot put at 12.21 meters.
• Molly Lu McKellar was second in the shot put at 11.46 meters, qualifying for the New England Division III Championships.
• Alexa Hurley was third in the high jump at 1.45 meters.
• Maggie St. John ran the 800 meters in 2:27.83.
• Grace Furlong ran the mile in 5:34.91.
• Sarah Ames, Anna O'Reilly, Alana Perry, and St. John were second in the 4x400 meter relay in 4:40.82.

"Keene State track and field is ready for indoor championship season and today proves it," said Keene State head coach Dan Roark.  "We had strong showings across the board, especially from our throwers where personal bests were numerous.  We are ready to turn some heads next weekend and show the LEC what Keene State track and field is all about."

The Owls come back to the track on February 17 at the conference championships, hosted by the University of Southern Maine.  The men finished sixth and the women second last year.
