BEVERLY, Mass. – The Keene State College men's soccer team traveled to Endicott College on Saturday afternoon to take on the Gulls, as KSC looked to bounce back after their last matchup against No. 5 Middlebury College. After EC scored 3:09 into the contest, they dominated KSC on the day as the Owls were defeated, 3-0.

How it Happened
EC took control early in the first half, as they scored a pair of goals in the opening 10:25 of the match. After Owl goalkeeper,
Regan Racicot, made a save on the Gulls' first shot attempt of the contest, Conor Rooney scored the first goal just a couple seconds later to put EC up 1-0 at the 3:09 mark. EC tallied on their second goal on their next shot, for a 2-0 lead, 10:25 into the game. The Gulls continued to outshoot KSC, as they got six shots off, before KSC was able to get one of their own. Of the six shots by the Gulls, two were saved by Racicot, two were blocked by a KSC defender, while the final two sailed wide of the goal. The Owls' only shot attempt of the contest came with 5:20 remaining in the first half, as
Claudio Pizzicarola tried to pull the Owls within a goal, but his header went wide of the net. In the final minute of the opening half, Jake Pezza added another goal for the Gulls with only 22 seconds remaining, as EC took a 3-0 lead into the half.
Both defenses shined in the second half, as no goals were scored, although the Gulls' attack continued to pressure the Owls and outshoot KSC 18-0 over the final 45 minutes of play. Both the Owls' defense and Racicot did their part in the second half, as Racicot made seven saves in net and the Owls defense blocked six shots from EC, as the remaining six shots missed the target. The Owls were unable to record a shot on goal in the second half, as they had two chances that were called offside throughout the half.
