Swim & Dive Dominates Regis Invitational in Final Contest of 2025

WESTON, Mass. – In their last meet of 2025 before their trip over break, the Keene State College swimming and diving teams traveled to Regis (Mass.) College on Friday night and Saturday morning to take place in the Regis Invitational.
 
Friday Women's Highlights
  • Maddy Fitzgerald led the way on the women's side on Friday with a pair of individual firs place finishes, coming in the 50 breast (35.20) and 100 breast (1:16.71), to go with her first-place finish as a part of the 200 medley relay that finished in 2:01.22.
  • Tallulah Going had a first-place finish in the 50 back in 31.22 to go with her part in the 200 medley first place finish, along with Fitzgerald, Olivia Boulris, and Kyleigh Dyer, and her first-place finish in the 800 free relay.
  • Dyer also placed first in the 50 fly (29.25) to go with her second relay first place finish in the 800 free with a time of 8:41.18.
  • Rory Lee had an individual win in the 500 free in 5:28.69 to go with her part in the 800 free relay alongside Dyer, Going, and Maddy Wilson.
  • Rebecca Radonovich rounded out the first-place women's finishes on Friday with two first place finishes, winning the 200 fly in 2:24.07, and 200 IM in 2:25.72.
 
Friday Men's Highlights
  • Leo Lauridsen finished with the most first-place finishes on day one with four coming from his 2:02.88 in the 200 fly and 4:57.97 in the 500 free for his individual wins and his part in the 200 medley relay and 800 free relay first place finishes.
  • Zack Menz, Caiden Cox, and Carter Beauchesne joined Lauridsen for the first-place finish in the 200 medley relay in 1:44.28.
  • Menz, Beauchesne, and Lauridsen were joined by Alec Agosto in the 800 free relay win in 7:49.66.
  • Evan Keefe finished first in the 50 back in 27.10.
  • Ethan Nguyen won the 200 back in 2:23.57.
 
23 personal bests were set on Friday for the Owls and after short rest, they were back at Regis on Saturday morning for the second day of competition.
 
Saturday Women's Highlights
  • Radonovich led the way on the women's side for day two with first place finishes in the 200 breast (2:42.88) and 400 IM (5:05.90).
  • Going helped the Owls finish first in three relays on the day as she anchored both the 400 medley relay (4:30.05) and the 200 free relay (1:47.24) and led off the Owls' 400 free relay (3:55.84).
  • Dyer led off the Owls' wins in the 400 medley relay and 200 free relay, along with going second in the 400 free relay to go with her first-place finish in the 100 IM in 1:06.79.
  • Hannah Reddick won the 200 free in 2:06.91 and went second in the 200 free relay and third in the 400 free relay.
  • Fitzgerald and Boulris both rounded out the second and third legs of the Owls' 400 medley relay.
  • Lee anchored the Owls' 400 free relay, while going third in the 200 free relay, and setting the pool record in the mile in 19:10.44.
  • Emily Stokel rounded out the first-place finishes on the women's side on Saturday with a first-place finish in the 100 back in 1:06.56, eight and a half seconds ahead of second place.
 
 
Saturday Men's Highlights
  • Lauridsen led the individual first place finishes on day two again with wins in the 100 fly (55.99) and the 400 IM (4:30.42) to go with helping the Owls' by going third in their first-place finish in the 400 medley relay in 3:50.62.
  • Agosto finished first in the mile finishing in 18:31.76 to go with going second in the 400 free relay which KSC won in 3:33.63 and second in the 200 free relay in 1:34.10.
  • Menz led off both the 400 medley relay and 200 free relays and anchored the 400 free relay, while Beauchesne anchored both the 400 medley relay and 200 free relay, while going third in 400 free relay.
  • Cox rounded out the men's first place finishes on Saturday with going second in the 400 medley relay, leading off the 400 free relay, and third in the 200 free relay, to go with his first-place finish in the 100 IM in 59.02.
 
 
 
 
Keene State returns home for their next contest against Eastern Connecticut State University on Friday, January 9, at 1:00 PM.
