KEENE, N.H. – D3hoops.com announced their All-Region teams for the 2024-2025 season and the Keene State College women's basketball team was recognized as
Brynn Rautiola was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region 2 Third Team from her sophomore year with the Owls.
Rautiola continued to excel for the Owls in her sophomore season for KSC as her selection to the D3hoops.com All-Region 2 Third Team comes after being named to the All-LEC First Team for the second consecutive season, as well. Rautiola recorded 470 points across the season for the second most in the Little East Conference, while also being the 52nd most points in all of NCAA Division III women's basketball this year and the sixth most in a single season for the Owls in program history. Averaging 18.8 points per game, the fifth-best mark for an Owl in a season, ranked her second in the conference (0.2 behind Taylor Salato of Eastern Connecticut State University, who was also named to the D3hoops.com All-Region Third Team), and the 34th best points per game on the year in all of DIII. Rautiola shot 35.1% (136-for-411) from the field, including 32.3% from three as her LEC-high 82 threes (on 268 attempts) are tied for the sixth most in DIII and tied for the second-most in a season in program history. Along with her 82 threes, her 3.3 threes per game average was the fifth-best in DIII as both were season-highs in the LEC. At the line Rautiola made 116 on 140 attempts as her 116 makes are the 42nd most in DIII on the year and tied for the fourth-most in a season for the Owls, while her free throw percentage of 82.9% was the second-best in the LEC on the year and fourth-best percentage (minimum of 50 attempts) on a season for KSC. Rautiola also recorded 2.9 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1.2 steals per game on the season while playing 34.3 minutes per game for the Owls.
At the end of her sophomore season, Rautiola currently sits tied for the 21st most points in program history with 961, just 39 points away from becoming the 20th member of the 1,000 point club for the KSC women's basketball program. Rautiola has recorded 150 threes over her first two seasons for the Owls, as she is currently tied for the 10th most in a career, while her three point percentage of 32.3% is the 11th-best. At the line, out of all Owls in program history with a minimum of 100 free throws made, Rautiola is the program leaders in free throw percentage with 84.4% as her 243 free throws made (on 288 attempts) are tied for the 13th most in program history as she is on pace to shatter Courtney Circillo's program record of 370 made free throws.
