The Panthers scored on their first two possessions of the second quarter to take the lead for the third time so far, but the Owls responded right back as KSC scored on three consecutive possessions thanks to their defense. Norton's steal led to a three from Luizzi to bring her career total to 999 career points, and then Bundy forced a steal seconds later, made a layup, and converted the and-one to put KSC up four. Dasaro logged another steal for KSC and made a layup for the eighth point over the 29 second span to put the Owls up six. Both teams traded baskets back and forth over the next five minutes as PSU pulled within five after a 10-8 run where Bundy and Rautiola each hit a three, and Dasaro made a layup for the Owls. After Dasaro tacked on another basket with 23 seconds remaining in the half, Luizzi was fouled on a three pointer at the halftime buzzer sending her to the line for a chance to become the 22nd Owl to reach the 1,000 career point mark in program history. After a delay lasting over four minutes as the refs checked to see if it was a foul, the shots were awarded where Luizzi missed the first but made the next two to reach the milestone and give KSC a 38-29 lead heading into the half.
After reaching the 1,000 milestone Luizzi found her groove as she accounted for all 11 points for KSC on their 11-7 run to open the scoring in the second half as the teams combined to score on seven consecutive possessions combined. After Luizzi grabbed a defensive rebound, she made a layup to kick off the scoring in the second half and followed it up by assisting Rautiola and Stewart on the next two possessions while finishing it off with a three to put KSC up 49-36, 3:10 into the quarter. After the hot streak for both offenses, the teams went cold not scoring for the next 2:53. Over the final 3:57 of the third, KSC went on a 12-2 run with Rautiola, Norton and Luizzi hitting a three apiece. While Dasaro made a layup and Luizzi made a free throw to close out the scoring in the quarter to give KSC a 61-38 lead heading into the final 10 minutes of action.
The final quarter of the day was the lowest scoring of the day with just 25 points being scored, favoring KSC 14-11. Elli Cox opened the scoring in the fourth for the Panthers by converting an and-one, but KSC responded with six points with Dasaro making a pair of free throws, Stewart adding one, and Rautiola making a three to put the Owls ahead by 26. Both teams traded four points over the next three minutes as Rautiola scored all four for the Owls, and the clock kept winding down in the contest. The remaining 3:35 of the contest, both teams once again traded four points apiece as Norton made another three for the Owls and Stewart tacked on a free throw as the Owls easily coasted to a 75-49 win on the day.
