The Owls honored their five seniors before kickoff on Tuesday night.
How it Happened
Both teams recorded three shots apiece over the opening 23 minutes of the match, but none were on target and the Owls were called offsides on three different occasions, preventing more offensive opportunities for KSC early in the contest. The rest of the way in the opening half KSC recorded another pair of shots, both coming from Martin Lubunga, but neither was on frame and both teams did not capitalize on their corner kick apiece as the game headed into halftime tied 0-0.

KSC didn't take long in the second half to find the back of the net as a turnover to the foot of Luke Belisle on the edge of the Lancers' box led to him firing a shot just inside the lower right corner to put KSC ahead 1-0 on his fourth goal of the season. The Owls continued the pressure with five more shots over the next 18 minutes, but only one was on target, which was saved by Dowglas Mira Lopera. The Lancers did not have their first shot on goal until the 66th minute as Mateu Farre made his first save in goal, but eight minutes later Farre was called for a foul in the box and the Lancers converted the penalty kick to tie the game up at one apiece with 15:58 remaining. As the game started to come to an end later in the second half both goalkeepers made another save before the Owls finally pushed through and found the back of the net as Adrian Bueno sent a high pass over the Lancers' defense and into the box where it found the foot of Edoardo Tambini. Tambini buried the one timer into the back of the net with under 20 seconds remaining and the Owls held off the Lancers the rest of the way as KSC picked up their third win of the season with the 2-1 victory.

Congrats to the Owls' five seniors honored pregame, Mateu Farre, Will Edmunds, Esteban Henao, Chuck Wason, and Giovanni Iob, we wish you the best of luck in your future!
