KEENE, N.H. – The New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) had recently named their Week 13 honors for the 2025-2026 season and for the first time this season the Keene State College women's basketball team was recognized as Brynn Rautiola earned the selection from her historical week for the Owls.
 
Brynn Rautiola, a junior guard from Rindge, New Hampshire, was named to the NEWBA First Team from the week where the Owls went 1-1 as she averaged 29.5 points per game and five steals per game. In the Owls' win at Eastern Connecticut State University on Wednesday, Rautiola recorded a game-high 27 points on 9-for-13 (69.2%) from the field and 6-for-9 (66.7%) from deep, to go with tying the game-high of four steals. On Saturday, Rautiola scored a game-high 32 points, with 22 of the points coming in the opening quarter of the contest as she moved into second place in program history for points in a career. After tying the program record for points in a single season with her explosion of 22 points in the first quarter, Rautiola's two free throws in the second quarter surpassed Patty Rauch's previous record that stood since the 1986-1987 season. Rautiola finished the game with a game-high 32 points, scoring half of the Owls' 64 points in the narrow defeat. In the contest, Rautiola went 13-for-14 (92.9%) at the line to go with her game-high six steals.
 
 
Rautiola and the Owls host Eastern Connecticut State University on Wednesday, February 25, at 5:30 PM in the Little East Conference Quarterfinals in Spaulding Gymnasium for their next contest as KSC looks to defeat ECSU for the second consecutive year in the Quarterfinals.
