2011 Statistics

Freshman who will be in the hunt for playing time on Keene State’s defensive unit this fall…knows where to be on the field….her defensive theory is “ the ball might get by me, but the player won’t.”

Before KSC: Attended Merrimack Valley (N.H.) High where she split time between junior varsity and varsity team as a sophomore and moved up to varsity as a junior…improved every season, named second-team All-State as a junior and first-team All-State last year…served as senior team captain…Lion team were perennial contenders for Class I title, capturing the title in 2008, reaching the final four in 2009, and losing a double-overtime heartbreaker to Hanover last fall…Emily has played field hockey since third grade…also starred on school’s lacrosse team, earning Division III Al-State honors.

Personal:  Sister Abby is a junior at KSC and a former field hockey player at Merrimack Valley…cousin Danielle also goes to school at Keene State…both father Jim and mother Cindy played sports at NHTI…grandfather George is a ’52 and ’57 MEd KSC grad and former principal of the Wheelock School…Emily would like to work as a radiologist and will take biology courses at KSC.
