AT KEENE STATE COLLEGE
Steve Enright was named head men’s basketball coach at Keene State College on April 29, 2024 following a national search.  In 2024-2025, his first season at the helm, Enright guided the Owls to their fourth consecutive Little East Conference Championship, marking the first ever four-peat in Little East Conference men’s basketball history.  The Owls finished the season with a 23-6 overall record and a 14-2 mark in Little East play en route to their eighth NCAA tournament berth in the last 10 seasons.  In the NCAA tournament, the Owls defeated NEWMAC champion Clark University 77-68 before falling to eventual national champion Trinity College in the second round in a true road game.  The Owls battled foul trouble and trimmed an 18-point deficit to 64-62 with seven minutes to go, but the Bantams answered with timely threes and pulled away late with free throws.

The Owls were consistently ranked or receiving votes in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll and were ranked as high as seventh during Enright's first season in the Elm City, which also featured numerous individual and team accolades.  Senior Octavio Brito crossed the 2,000 career point threshold on February 4, 2025 in a 92-75 win at Vermont State University Castleton, eventually concluding his illustrious Keene State career as the programs second leading scorer (2,206 career points).  Brito was also named NABC Division III Player of the Year, the first recognition of its kind in the history of Keene State athletics in the Division III era, and Little East Conference Player of the Year (the third straight year a KSC player won that award).  Additionally, seniors Spencer Aronson, Mason Jean Baptiste, and Nate Siow were all named Second Team All-LEC.  The team featured a high-octane offense, averaging 88.4 points per game (eighth in NCAA Division III) and set a program single season record for three-point field goals made with 327.

PRIOR TO KEENE STATE
Prior to Keene State, Enright guided the Bridgewater College (Va.) men’s basketball program from 2019-2024. During that time, he rebuilt the program into an ODAC competitor, improving the teams overall win total in each of his four full seasons leading the Eagles.  In 2023-2024, he guided Bridgewater to a 16-10 overall record and a 9-7 mark in ODAC play, one of the toughest Division III conferences in the country.  The 16 overall wins marked the highest win total for the program since the 2004-2005 season, and the nine league wins achieved the program's first winning record in conference play since the 2008-2009 season.  The Eagles finished tied for fifth in an extremely competitive ODAC that saw six different teams ranked in the national Top 25, four NCAA Tournament selections, two Final Four teams, and one that played for a Division III national championship.

Throughout the season, the Eagles achieved several key wins, including a 75-56 triumph on the road over 20th-ranked Virginia Wesleyan University, marking the first win over a nationally-ranked team for the program since February 2, 2019.  The 2022-2023 campaign marked Bridgewater's first top-six finish in the ODAC since 2014, advancing to the quarterfinal round of the conference tournament in back-to-back seasons.  BC posted 13 wins, its highest total in six seasons, as well as a strong 9-4 record on their home court at Nininger Hall, marking the highest home win total for the program since the 2004-2005 season.
In 2021-2022 BC advanced to the quarterfinal of the ODAC tournament for the first time since 2014. The trip to Salem was clinched by a thrilling victory in the first round of the tournament over eighth-seeded cross-town rival Eastern Mennonite University, the Eagles' first win in a conference tournament game since 2010 and a strong rebound after the 2020-2021 shortened pandemic season saw the Eagles finish 3-6 overall with the vast majority of the season being cancelled.

Bridgewater closed the 2019-2020 regular season by winning three of their final four to clinch an ODAC playoff spot on the final day with a road win over traditional ODAC power Hampden-Sydney College.  Senior guard Chandler Murray and senior forward Davrion Grier were both named to the All-ODAC team that year, when BC finished ninth in the 13-team ODAC after being picked to finish last in the preseason poll.

Prior to being named head coach, Enright had a previous stint as associate head coach at Bridgewater from 2015-2018.

PRIOR TO BRIDGEWATER COLLEGE
Prior to Bridgewater, Enright spent a season on the bench as assistant coach under coach Dan Earl at NCAA Division I Virginia Military Institute. During his time with the Keydets, Enright was the program's recruiting coordinator, signing a strong 2019 recruiting class led by 2019-2020 Southern Conference Rookie of The Year Travis Evee. VMI won its first SoCON tournament game since 2002-2003 with a victory over Western Carolina University on February 23, 2019.  Enright also was responsible for coaching guard play at VMI, helping develop Second Team All-SoCON selection Bubba Parham.

From 2013-2015, Enright served under coach Dan Hurley as assistant director of basketball operations at NCAA Division I University of Rhode Island. During Enright’s two seasons on the bench for the Rams, the program saw an improvement from 14 to 23 wins. In 2014-2015, URI earned a bid to the NIT, defeating Iona University at home before losing to Stanford University in the second round.  Enright coached future NBA players Xavier Munford and Jared Terrell during his time with the Rams, as well as several other future professional players.

Enright began his career as a volunteer assistant for a pair of NCAA Division III programs in his native New England, making stops at both Endicott College and Mount Ida College.  In 2012, Enright was named an assistant coach at then-NCAA Division II Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, North Carolina.
