Carlin Testa

Carlin Testa '20

A native of Cranston, R.I., Testa was a goaltender at the Pomfret School before coming to Keene State College, where he played on the men's club ice hockey team.  As a goaltender with the Owls, Carlin was named an ACHA All-Northeast First Team Goaltender twice, helped his team to four national tournament berths, and was a goaltender for the 2019 ACHA Select Team at the World University Games in Barnaul, Russia.  

After graduating in 2020, Testa became an Athletic Trainer for the Rectory School, a private school in Connecticut, before returning to Keene State as a trainer in 2022.  Carlin has served as the goaltending coach for the KSC club hockey team and a coach at player development camps for the New England District of USA Hockey and is an instructor for Pro-Crease Goaltending. 
Under Testa’s guidance, freshman goaltender Ben Skelton ranked 16th in the country in shutouts and the team ranked 38th in the country in save percentage in 2024-2025. 
Carlin lives in Keene with his wife, Alexis ’19, and their dog, Bear.
