A native of Cranston, RI, Testa was a goaltender at the Pomfret School before coming to Keene State, where he played on the men's club ice hockey team. As a goaltender at with the Owls, Carlin was named an ACHA All-Northeast First Team Goaltender twice and helped his team to four national tournament berths and was a goaltender for the 2019 ACHA Select Team at the World University Games in Barnaul, Russia.
After graduating in 2020, Testa became an Athletic Trainer for a private school in Connecticut before returning to Keene State as a trainer in 2022. Carlin has served as the goaltending coach for the KSC club hockey team and works player development camps for the New England District of USA Hockey and is an instructor for Pro-Crease Goaltending. Carlin lives in Keene with his wife, Alexis ’19, and their dog, Bear.
