A Keene native, Romeo played hockey at Keene High School before continuing his career at Keene State College as a member of the club team during its first two seasons.
In addition to being the Referee-in-Chief for Keene Youth Hockey and the Commissioner of the Keene Men’s League, Mike was an assistant coach for the KSC club hockey team for the past two seasons, which included an appearance in the ACHA Division II national tournament in 2024.
Romeo works primarily with the team’s defense and penalty kill.
Romeo works for the University System of New Hampshire as a procurement manager. He lives in Keene with his wife, Ashley, and their dog, Ruger.
