Charlie Pilger

Charlie Pilger re-joined the Keene State College men's soccer team in 2019.  Pilger had been on staff for the 2017 season, before spending the 2018 season on staff at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.   

A three year player for the Owls, Pilger played in 13 games across the Owls back line.  His senior season, the Owls reached the Little East Conference championship game for the first time since 2011.

Pilger's previous experience in coaching is rooted in Cheshire County, having served as the head JV coach at Monadnock Regional High School and as an assistant coach with the Huskies' varsity program.  He also coached for Connecticut Football Club and managed the CFC Arena, and is a coach and regional director for No. 1 Soccer Camps.

Pilger's father, Michael Pilger, is the men's soccer coach at Trinity College (CT), while his brother, Cameron, spent time on the staff at LEC rival Eastern Connecticut State.

Pilger graduated from KSC in 2015 with a degree in Exercise Science and a specialzation in Coaching.
