Keene State College

A valuable assistant with the Keene State women’sbasketball team the past two years, Megan Lane moves from the courtto the field this spring, serving in the same capacity with the Owlwomen’s lacrosse team.

A former four-year player for the Owl basketball team and seniorteam captain, Lane will concentrate on conditioning andadministrative duties with the team.

A hard-working member of the KSC women’s basketball teamfrom 2002-06, Lane was a role model for her teammates with herperseverance and love of the game and was named team captain hersenior season. In 2005, she was also named a Strength andConditioning All-American by Keene State College Strength andConditioning Coach Sarah Testo.

Lane served as a student assistant coach in 2006-07 whilecompleting her degree in history/secondary education. In2007-08, she went to Springfield College and received herMaster's degree in athletic administration and assisting with thewomen's basketball team.  

Lane came to Keene State from Hawthorne (N.J.) High School whereshe was a 1,000-point scorer and an all-county and league player asa senior.
