Keene State College

Hard-working and energetic sophomore who will see time at the wing position for Keene State this season....very aggressive at both ends of the court....quick feet and elusiveness allows her to be a key player...also has a smooth shot and pinpoint accuracy when passing as well....well-respected by her teammates...comes to the gym and plays hard every day.

Freshman (2013-14): Appeared in 14 games for the Owls. Scored a career high eight points in her first collegiate game on 4-10 shooting in 15 minutes against Green Mountain (11/15/13). Dished out four assists against RPI (12/3/13).

Before KSC:  Well-traveled guard who played at Lauralton (Conn.) Hall, Lake Highland (Fla.) Prep. before completing her high school career at Jonathan Law (Conn.) High...a three-year varsity starter named senior captain at Johnathan Law earning All-Division and All-Conference honors...a three-sport athlete who also served as captain of Eagles swim and softball teams....led softball and basketball teams to tournament appearances...father Chuck Murphy was a top swimming sprinter in high school...brother (Cole) played lacrosse at Western (Co.) State....Sam is in the KSC nursing program.
