Rob Morgan

Rob Morgan was named the first ever coach of the Keene State women's ice hockey team in October 2023.

Morgan brings an extensive coaching background to KSC, having most recently served as the head coach of the men's club team at Cal State Northridge to a 14-3-1 record in 2023.

Prior to that, he was the head coach at NCAA Division I Long Island University, where he founded the program and compiled a record of 36-41-1 (.469) and led the Sharks to New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) Championship in 2020, Commissioners Cup in 2021, and a share of the NEWHA Regular Season Title in 2022.

From 2015-17, Morgan was the associate head coach at Yale University, where the Bulldogs reached the quarterfinals of the ECAC tournament in each of his two seasons.

Before relocating to Connecticut, Morgan was the first head coach of women's ice hockey at St. Norbert College, an NCAA DIII institution in De Pere, Wisconsin. Within four years, Morgan and the Green Knights had won the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association championship and appeared in the NCAA Division III tournament. Morgan won 78 games in five seasons, led the Green Knights to national rankings in 2013 and 2014, and never had a losing season during his tenure at St. Norbert.

From 2003-2009, Morgan was an assistant coach at Dartmouth College, helping the Big Green reach the NCAA tournament five times, including the Frozen Four in 2004 and 2005.
