Hard-working, athletic combo guard looking to earn playing time in the Owls'' backcourt this season...a slasher with a great first step who can get to the basket and jump of out the gym....a tough defender and good rebounder who should improve as the season progresses.

Before KSC: Transferred from Trinity Catholic to Notre Dame-Fairfield as a junior, helpding to lead the Lancers to the State (Class M) Championship....earned All-State, All-Division and All-Conference honors as a senior and appeared in two senior All-Star games...named MVP of Appalachian Christmas Tournament....also played volleyball and lacrosse for the Lancers, receiving All-Division honors in volleyball....play on Conn. Premiere club team...Kingwood’s father, Tyrone, played basketball at Cleveland State and was on a famous team that upset heavily favored Indiana in the first round of the 1986 NCAA Tournament. He was also a No. 1 draft pick in baseball by the Montreal Expos...brother Tyrone Jr. also plays high school ball....Jovan is a biology major.
