Senior looking to have a productive and injury-free season forKeene State this fall… will be a key contributor for theOwls, seeing time at center midfield and stopper…has a greatshot from outside the 18-yard box…a smart player with thefield vision to set up or finish the play…a tenacious playerwith the size and skill to be a force in the offensive zone.

2012:  Saw limited playing time, appearingin just 12 early season games with 10 starts due to aninjury….netted goals against Worcester State (9/27/12) andEastern Conn. (10/6/12).

2011: Appeared in 10 games with eightstarts….made her only goal count, netting the game-winner inkey Little East victory over Eastern Connecticut State University(10/8/11).

2010: Started in 19 games as afreshman…scored the game-winning goal in her very firstcollegiate game against Johnson & Wales (9/2/10)…alsonetted game-winners in consecutive wins vs. Worcester State(9/29/10) and Rhode Island College (10/2/10).

Before KSC: a former standout for the KeeneHigh Blackbirds, playing center back her first two season and atcenter midfield as a junior and senior….served as teamcaptain as a senior, earning second-team All-State honors andselection to the Twin-State senior game….Blackbirds reachedstate (Class L) semifinals last fall…also played on KHStrack and basketball teams…placed third in the javelin atthe state meet as a senior.

Personal:  An All-LEC javelin thrower forthe KSC’s track team in 2011…Mother Darcy is a formerthrowing coach for the Owls who is presently an assistant trackcoach at Brown University…Kristen is a health, fitness andpromotion and nutrition major.
