KEENE, N.H. 4/9/02 - Joe Branciforte (Cromwell, CT) had five
goals and four assists and Eric Momnie (South Windsor, CT) added
four goals to lead the Keene State College men's lacrosse team to a
19-5 non-conference victory over Daniel Webster College at Owl
Stadium Complex on Tuesday.
It was the fifth straight win for the Owls (5-1) with Daniel
Webster goes to 2-2.
The Owls were in control from the start taking a 6-0 lead after
the first quarter and extending their lead to 11-0 at halftime.
Branciforte now has 26 goals for KSC this season. Chad Tiger
(Port Murray, NJ), D.J. Clattenburg (Concord, NH) and Spencer
Anastasio also chipped in with two goals each.
Mike Lundquist (Weymouth, MA.) lead the Eagles with three goals.
Eric Delisle (Amherst, NH) had two saves in the first quarter
for KSC while Ryan Connary (Portland, Me.) made nine saves the rest
of the way. Pawel Rutkowski (Nashua, NH) made 17 saves for DWC.
KSC will host Clark University on Thursday (4 p.m.).
