'KEENE, N.H.. 3/26/03 – Joe Branciforte
(Cromwell, CT) had four goals and five assists and Ben Bradley
(South Hadley, MA.) finished with four goals and four assists to
lead the Keene State College men's lacrosse team to a 20-4
home-season opening victory over the University of New England in
Keene on Wednesday.
Eric Momnie (South Windsor, CT) and Chad Tiger (Port Murray,
N.J.) also had four goals each in the game for KSC.
Ryan Rivard (East Freetown, MA.) had two goals and an assist to
lead UNE (0-2).
Jumped out to a 7-1 lead after the first quarter, the Owls had a
16-1 advantage at halftime.
Eric Delisle (Amherst, N.H.) (one save) and Ryan Connary
(Portland, Me.) each played a half in goal for the Owls. Peter
Stenross (Brighton, N.Y.) finished with 14 saves for the
Nor'easters.
Keene State (1-1) will host Salem State in its first Little East
game of the season on Saturday (1 p.m.).
