'KEENE, N.H. 3/29/03– Joe Branciforte (Cromwell, CT) had four goals and five assists to lead Keene State College to a 22-4 romp over Salem State College in a Little East Conference men's lacrosse game played Saturday in Keene.

Keene State improves to 2-1 (1-0 LEC) while Salem State falls to 0-2 (0-1 LEC).

Mike LeSage (Exeter, N.H.) added four goals and Ben Bradley (So. Hadley, MA.) and Meade McKay (Stratham, N.H.) finished with three goals each for KSC. Branciforte now has eight goals and 10 assists this season.

Eric Stanton (Fremont, MA.) led the Vikings with two goals.

The outcome of the game was never in doubt as KSC led 7-1 at the end of the first quarter and 12-1 at halftime.

Eric Delisle (Amherst, N.H.) (eight saves) and Ryan Connary (Portland, Me.) (one save) both played in goal for the Owls.  Mike Bates (Salem, MA.) had 12 saves for SSC.

Keene State hosts Green Mountain College on Monday (4 p.m.).
