'KEENE, N.H. 4/12/03 – Eric Momnie (South
Windsor, CT) had five goals and three assists and Ben Bradley
(South Hadley, MA.), who played for the Corsairs last season,
finished with five goals and two assists to lead the Keene State
College men's lacrosse team to a 17-9 Little East Conference
victory over UMA-Dartmouth at Owl Stadium Complex on Saturday.
KSC improves to 5-2 (2-0 LEC) while UMD goes to 3-4 (1-2 LEC).
With the scored tied 2-2 after the first quarter, the Owls
outscored the Corsairs 9-3 in the second quarter to take an 11-5
lead. Momnie tallied three goals and two assists in the quarter.
Defenseman Josh Lewis (Amherst, N.H.) also netted a pair of
goals for KSC.
Ryan Leary (Framingham, MA.), Jeff Boudreau (Newton, MA.) and
Brian Pabis (Wilbraham, MA.) had two goals each to lead the
Corsairs. Adam Cusano (Framingham, MA.) added four assists.
Eric Delisle (Amherst, N.H.), who finished with 20 saves, had a
strong game in goal for KSC. Mike Jenkins (Ashland, MA.) with
11 saves and Mike Foley (Milton, MA.) with four saves saw action in
the net for UMD.
KSC plays at Assumption College on Monday (4 p.m.).
