'KEENE, N.H. 4/17/03–Eric Momnie (South Windsor CT)
had seven goals and four assists and Ben Bradley (So. Hadley, MA. )
finished with four goals and six assists to lead the Keene State
College men's lacrosse team to a 17-4 non-conference victory over
Norwich University in Keene on Thursday.
It was the seventh win in the last eight games for the Owls
(7-2) while Norwich falls to 2-6.
Chad Tiger (Port Murray, N.J.) and Greg Richard (Nashua, N.H.)
had a pair of goals and Meade McKay (Stratham, N.H.), and Joe
Calcagno (Mt. Lakes, N.J.) also scored goals for KSC. Momnie now
has 26 goals this season.
Nick Bishop (Webster, N.Y.) had two goals for Norwich.
Norwich scored the first goal of the game, but it was all KSC
from there. The Owls went ahead 6-2 after one quarter and
10-3 at the half.
Eric Delisle (Amherst, N.H.), who played into the third quarter
finished with six saves for KSC. Ryan Connary (Buxton, Me.) came in
to make six saves in the fourth quarter. Mike Gioia finished
with 21 saves for the Cadets.
KSC is at Southern ME on Saturday (1 p.m.).
