'LEWISTON, ME 4/8/03–– The Keene State
College men's lacrosse team had its four game winning streak
snapped on Tuesday with a 9-7 non-conference loss to Colby College
in a game played at Bates College Lewiston, ME. It was the first
meeting between the two teams.
Chad Tiger (Port Murray, N.J.) and Greg Richard (Nashua, N.H.)
had two goals each to lead the Owls (4-2). Ryan Glennon
(Exeter, N.H.) had one goal and three assists to pace the Colby
College (2-5).
Joe Branciforte (Cromwell, CT), Meade McKay (Stratham, N.H.)and
Ben Bradley (South Hadley, MA.) also tallied goals for the Owls.
Joshua Cleaver (Kennett Square, Pa.) added three goals and Conor
Cooper (Reading, MA.) had two for the Mules.
Eric Delisle (Amherst, N.H.) made seven saves for KSC.
Junior goaltender Matthew LaPaglia (Upper Montclair, N.J.) had 16
saves for Colby.
Colby only led 8-7 with about five minutes left in the final
quarter and got its insurance goal with just two seconds left.
Keene State returns home to face UMA-Dartmouth in a LEC game on
Saturday (2:30 p.m.)
