'KEENE, N.H. 3/27/03 - Freshman attackman Greg Gonzalez
(Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) had five goals and Sean Panora (South
Windsor, Conn.) tallied four goals and three assists to lead the
Keene State College men's lacrosse team to a 17-6 victory over
Assumption College at Owl Athletic Complex on Saturday.
The victory halted KSC's (2-2) two game losing streak while
Assumption College falls to 1-4. The Owls, who led 6-0 after
the first quarter, scored the first eight goals in the game.
Greg Richard (Nashua, N.H.), Eric Momnie (South Windsor, Conn.),
and D.J. Clattenburg (Concord, N.H.) had two goals each while Meade
McKay (Stratham, N.H.) finished the game with a goal and three
assists.
Eric Delisle (Amherst, N.H.) turned aside four shots for
KSC. Matt Hoffman (Westfield. Mass.) had a busy day in goal
for the Greyhounds with 20 saves.
Keene State plays at Daniel Webster College on Sunday.
