'HARTFORD,CONN. 3/22/05 - The Keene State College men's lacrosse
team is still in search of its first win of the 2005 season after
dropping a 13-6 non-conference game to Trinity College in Harford,
Conn., on Tuesday.
Senior Eric Momnie (South Windsor, Conn.)led KSC with three
goals. Sean Panora (South Windor, Conn.), Greg Gonzalez
(Yorktown Heights, N.Y.), and Greg Richard (Nashua, N.H.) also
found the back of the net for the Owls.
Momnie scored all three of his goals in the first for the Owls
who trailed 7-4 at the break. Although KSC kept the game
within reach at the start of the third quarter, the Bantams'
accurate offense and the goaltending of Jakob Isbrandsten kept KSC
in check the rest of the way.
Isbrandsten stopped 19 shots while Keene freshmen goalies Matt
Johnson (Derry, N.H.) had six saves and Brad Bishop (Brunswick,
Me.) made three stops in his first action this season.
Chris Walsh, Curtis Kahn, and Peter McIntire had three goals
each to lead Trinity (2-1).
Keene State (0-3) shoots for its first win on Thursday when it
travels to Assumption College (3:30 p.m.).
