'KEENE, N.H. 4/27/05 - The Keene State College men's lacrosse
team extended its winning streak to seven games with a 12-8
non-conference victory over Assumption College at Owl Athletic
Complex on Wednesday night.
Leading 2-1 after the first quarter, KSC outscored the
Greyhounds 5-1 to take a commanding 7-2 halftime lead. Eric Momnie
(South Windsor, Conn.), who is just four goals shy of KSC's career
record, had two of the Owls' second quarter goals.
Meade McKay (Stratham, N.H.) and Sean Panora (South Windsor,
Conn.) had three goals each to lead Keene State (7-4). Bryan
Parks (Somers, Conn.) and Niel Donnelly (Boylston, Mass.) finished
with three goals each for the Greyhounds (3-11).
Matt Johnson (Derry, N.H.) had 11 saves and Brad Bishop
(Brunswick, Me.) stopped two shots for KSC. Matt Hoffman
(Westfield, Mass.) had 17 shots for Assumption.
Keene State wraps up its regular season with a LEC game at
Southern Maine on Saturday (1 p.m.).
