'CLERMONT, FLA. 3/14/07 - Sean Panora (South Windsor, Conn.) and
Ryan Hazelton (Chester, N.H.) netted four goals each to lead the
Keene State College men's lacrosse team to a 16-5 victory over New
England College on Tuesday night. The game was played at the
National Training Center in Clermont, Fla.
The Owls went up 8-1 after the first quarter and led 12-2 at
halftime.
Tony Santa Fe (Derry, N.H.) had three goals and two assists and
Mike LeSage (Exeter, N.H.) finished with a goal and three assists.
Nate Stevens (Cape Elizabeth, Me.) had two goals for the
Pilgrims, who were playing their first game of the season.
Goalie Matt Johnson (Derry, N.H.) made eight saves for
KSC. Billy Brooks, a former NEC goalie, stopped two shots in
the fourth quarter.
Keene State (2-0) returns to action next Tuesday against Colby
College. The game, scheduled for 5 p.m., will be played in
Portland, Me.
