WALTHAM, Mass.--The Keene State College swimming and diving teams won all 30 swim events as the Owls won a dual meet against Bentley University on Sunday.
The Owl men beat the Falcons by a score of 208-90, while the women won their meet 215.5 to 82.5.
Shahar Resman set a pair of pool records at the Dana Center Pool, winning the 200 free in 1:43.93 and the 500 free in 4:40.67. Christopher Deegan picked up a win in the 1,000 free in 10:05.76, as did Bobby McDowell in the 100 back in 54.32, and Nate Shepard in the 100 breast in 1:03.80.
Cole Hogg was the winner in the 200 fly, touching in with a time of 1:59.70, while Greg Youngstrom emerged as the winner in the 50 free in 21.32. Ryan Boraski nipped Youngstrom to a win in the 100 free, with a time of 48.08, while Youngstrom was just behind in 48.83, and Bobby McDowell won the 200 back in 2:00.09.
Shepard nabbed his second win of the day in the 200 breast, in 2:22.16, while Luke Sprague won the 100 fly in 53:56, and Chris DiGiacomo won the 200 IM in 2:00.86. Ethan Etheridge won the mixed 50 breaststroke in 27.57.
Boraski, Hogg, Sprague, and Youngstrom combined for a win in the 200 free relay in 1:25.90, while Sprague and Youngstrom were also part of the winning 200 medley relay team with McDowell and Shepard in 1:38.23.
Madison Thompson earned a win for the KSC women in the 1,000 free, in 11:33.12, as well as in the 1,650 free in 19:11.70. Hope Walsh did the same in the 200 free in 2:01.31, and Taylor DaSilva did as well in the 100 back in 1:01.58.
Diana Pimer won four events on the day, taking the 100 breast in 1:09.33, the 200 back in 2:13.13, the 200 IM in 2:14.27, and swimming the first leg of the 200 medley relay, which, along with Corrina Nickerson, Amber Long, and Alison Bartlett, KSC won in 1:54.56.
Katherine Brady won the 200 fly in 2:15.88, while Bartlett picked up solo wins in the 50 free in 24.67 and the 100 free in 55.20. Nickerson touched in first in the 200 breast in 2:33.65, while Walsh added another second victory in the 500 free in 5:22.03. Margaret Dean edged Long in the 100 fly in 1:03.45, to win by .20 seconds, then joined forces with DaSilva, Bartlett, and Brianna Laliberte to take the 200 free relay in 1:42.15.
Keene State will be back in the pool in one week, taking part in a tri-meet at Boston College, with Connecticut College also taking part.
